Wednesday 7 June, London, UK: In development for the last 12 months, London-based studio Shedworks Games is pleased to announce that one-tap action puzzle game Swing King & The Temple of Bling will hit the App Store for iOS on Thursday 29th of June, 2017.

The game, which tells the tale of Mumbles the Monkey and his efforts to unravel the secrets of ancient temples, is an action-packed puzzle-platformer where players use one-tap controls to guide him through a total of 45 stages.

The idea is to tap the screen to help Mumbles swing through the jungle, navigating him through the many pitfalls and predators out to end his quest and picking up gold coins aplenty on the way.

Swing King & The Temple of Bling is the debut mobile release from Shedworks Digital, the studio founded by Gregorios Kythreotis and Daniel Fineberg, in collaboration with Zion Siton of Objective-Z. Previous titles Shedworks have worked on include Cloud Critters, Mogees Pulse and Nintendo Switch launch title, Snipperclips.

“We’ve spent the last 12 months working with Zion on the adventures of Mumbles the Monkey, with Swing King & The Temple of Bling having evolved significantly from the original idea we had in that time,” says Greg Kythreotis.

“The end result is not only a game we’re proud to put our name to, but an IP we think has legs and will look to revisit in the future. For now, though, we’re very keen to get Mumbles in front of as many eyes as possible.”

Swing King & The Temple of Bling has already caught the eye of the mobile games press, with Touch Arcade having cast its significant light on the game when its debut trailer hit YouTube back in April - http://toucharcade.com/2017/04/12/upcoming-swing-king-and-the-temple-of-bling-is-my-kind-of-thing/

Pocketgamer also described the game as ‘an utter beauty and is definitely something worth keeping an eye on.’ in October 2016.
