Update 50 starts the hunt for another exclusive Master’s skinp>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Copenhagen – November 1st, 2017 – Minion Masters developer BetaDwarf Entertainment has introduced the second Halloween Update (Update 50) called Devils and Duels. With this update players will now be able to find the second exclusive skin Devil King Puff.
On October 25th, Update 49 – The Wicked Witching Night has gone live. BetaDwarf re-introduced Expeditions with a brand new map, a special Halloween event and Skins for Minion Masters. Players were – and still are – able to hunt Expeditions for an exclusive skin (Demolisher Volco), which is needed to make the second encounter – dropping the exclusive Devil King Puff skin by chance – appear.
With Update 50 – Devils and Duels, BetaDwarf also announced that they extend their Halloween event until November 15th. The former deadline for the exclusive skins was November 8th, so players will have a whole additional week to acquire the special skins, before they will be not available any more.
Once again, BetaDwarf seems to understand their community well enough to please their needs. Skins were requested for a longer time, but the small, independent development team was busy getting other events ready first, like a special event made for Octavian “Kripparrian” Morosan, a famous Hearthstone streamer at Twitch. Before that, BetaDwarf introduced several requested features, such as 2vs2 Team Battle mode and the aim to bring Minion Masters into competitive eSports.
BetaDwarf also ran an own tournament, recently. The Master’s Challenge was a 1vs1 tournament, restricted to players that managed to reach the highest rank (Grandmaster) in the 1vs1 October Ranked Season. The game itself is still in Early Access, but BetaDwarf provided a prize pool of $1000 nonetheless.
According to the Danish game developer company, the tournament was a huge success, and they will continue to present tournaments with prize money to scale up the competitive scene around Minion Masters.
Minion Masters is a fast-paced online minion battle game and the first free-to-play tug-of-war game for both PC and Xbox. Players choose a Master and build decks from hundreds of cards to challenge friends and rivals online in real-time.
