August 29, 2014 - Philadelphia, PA - Team Madness launched a 29-day Kickstarter campaign this week to support its new PC/Mac game, Madness: Project Nexus 2.
Team Madness founders Michael Swain and Matt “Krinkels” Jolly present Madness, a cartoon world of comic violence and frantic, senseless, ever-escalating combat. Within those borders, Madness: Project Nexus 2 gives players a 3rd person, squad combat experience that stretches from sprawling urban complexes to primordial hellscapes and unconquerable wastelands.
Madness: Project Nexus 2 sets itself apart from its spiritual predecessors (which include Smash TV, Final Fight, and Castle Crashers) not only through darkly expressive aesthetics and biting comic relief, but the split-second, irrevocable choices that bring life or death on the battlefield.
RPG fans can also focus on such non-combat features as customizable camp defenses, scavenging supplies, securing temporary shelter, crafting, heavy exploration, and handling the threadbare mental health of their survivors in the game’s roguelike zombie apocalypse simulator.

Madness: Project Nexus 2 has already achieved 25% of its Kickstarter goal of $56,000 after only three days. Its stretch goals allow for potential future updates that would include customizable player-built bases, multiplayer cooperative and versus game modes, and complete support for player modding of game assets.
