Prague, Czech Republic, November 11 th 2013: Independent games developer ‘AppTrixi’ is proud to announce the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to support the development and completion of ‘GeoCannon: Challenge & Conquer The Earth’ for iOS® and Android™ compatible devices!
‘ GeoCannon’ is Geo Augmented Reality at its best! In the game, described as featuring the very best from Angry Birds™ (controls), Worms™ (weapons) and Little Big Planet™ (environmental creativity), your objective is to rule the world by conquering any city or location in an environment of real-time generated 3D levels. Each level has a variable number of objects and shots available. By use of 3 default weapons your objective is to destroy a sufficient number of objects to overtake each city and location, while also achieving the highest possible score. Strategy comes into play as you can re-group objects by shooting magnets that attract other objects, and you can use remaining shots to achieve combos. Weapons are available for multiple-object destruction! Your cannon can be controlled in any direction and level of charge. When you play, your default spawn point is mapped by the GPS location of your device, and you can swiftly navigate a 2D map to anywhere in the world before generating a 3D environment using the PLAY button. The farther traverse from your initial GPS location, the less powers you have, but with experience and strategy, techniques and power-ups, you will eventually rule the earth if you are skilled enough!
