p>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 19th December 2017
Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games hopes to spread a little Christmas cheer this week with the release of a special holiday-themed playable demo on Nintendo Switch.
A free trial version of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe is available on the Nintendo eShop from Tuesday December 19th, featuring twelve Christmas picture puzzles in various sizes.
All the features of the full game are present in this special version, including co-operative play for up to four players.
Pic-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. They are sometimes known by other names, like Picross, Nonogram, Paint by Numbers, Griddlers and Hanjie.
Unlike most games in the genre, which are black-and-white only, Pic-a-Pix Deluxe includes colour puzzles that must be solved using a palette of up to 5 different colours. The clues not only indicate lengths, but also the colour in which blocks must be painted.
This game will build upon the success of Pic-a-Pix Colour on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U earlier this year. The new Deluxe game features 300 brand new puzzles, intuitive touch screen controls and larger puzzle grids than ever before.
It will be available to download on January 4th, 2018 on the Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders are now open.
Pic-a-Pix Deluxe supports English, French, German and Spanish.
