Latest audited figures chart continued growth in Eurogamer Network

For Immediate Release

Brighton, UK, 30th January 2012: Eurogamer Network Ltd, one of the world’s leading games media businesses, is pleased to announce that its readership across Eurogamer.net and its ten foreign-language editions rose by more than 10% year on year in figures audited by ABC.

Between 1st and 30th November 2011, 5,778,816 unique browsers visited Eurogamer's sites in the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy and further afield to find the latest video game reviews, news, previews and videos. Over 42 million pages of content were viewed during the period, another new record.

That number does not include traffic to Eurogamer's other English-language sites, GamesIndustry.biz and IndustryGamers.com, or to partner sites VG247, Rock, Paper, Shotgun and NintendoLife.com, which have also shown amazing growth during the last 12 months. Total reach across all Eurogamer network sites now exceeds 10 million unique users per month.

"We believe that independent certification is the strongest possible way to prove your traffic to partners and clients. We're thrilled to show our twelfth consecutive year of growth across the network," said Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer Network Operations director.

"Last year we relaunched the site in 10 languages simultaneously, giving ourselves a fantastic new publishing platform to build upon, and already this year we're driving forward with significant investment in new editorial and other new projects. I have no doubt the sites will be even stronger when we report our figures for 2012."

Rupert Loman, Managing Director, added: "The continued growth of Eurogamer is at the core of our business and we're very pleased with the figures. This year we will also deliver the biggest and best ever Eurogamer Expo, and have huge plans for GamesIndustry.biz and our US operations. We’re looking forward to another great year."

Eurogamer submits its website traffic to independent certification by ABC every year. The complete audit certificate is available to read on ABC's website: http://www.abc.org.uk/Certificates/18061592.pdf
