Starting on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, players can take on an epic quest for the opportunity to acquire new skills and never-before-seen characters.

Once characters have reached a higher proficiency, they may complete a quest and receive a promotion. The required proficiencies are:

- The Vampire: level 150

- The Slayer: domain class 150

- The Ouster: skill level 140

Each race has an original four-part quest that delves deeper into the sinister story of Darkeden.
