Johnny Gat joins cast of Divekick

Chicago, IL - April 8, 2014 – Iron Galaxy, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of two button fighting games, announced today that Johnny Gat from the Saints Row game series will be joining the cast of Divekick Addition Edition + for the PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One. 

Iron Galaxy and Deep Silver Volition, creator of Saints Row, were connected by a series of tweets from fans:

• A fan of Divekick and Saints Row, @aSF_Gir had just finished the intro to Saints Row IV, and mentioned that Saints Row was the best thing he had seen this year aside from Divekick. 

• The official Divekick twitter responded noting that Saints Row IV might contain a few Divekicks of its own. As any game should!

• The official Saints Row Twitter account suggested Johnny Gat should be in Divekick.

• After several days of us doing nothing, convinced we were being catfished, we began work on getting Johnny Gat in the game! Johnny Gat comes to the Divekick world complete with his own Story Mode and bag of tricks. Gat will casually dodge traffic, use his Black Hole Launcher, or even call on the support of the famous Dubstep Gun while Divekicking his opponents in the face. A brand new stage, “Da Beech”, is also being added to Addition Edition +, and existing owners of Addition Edition will have the Johnny Gat and Da Beech updates rolled out to them for free after the game launches on Playstation® 4 and Xbox One.
