IGN named UK’s favourite video games site

Internet users have their say in the NetObserver Awards

28/09/11– IGN ( http://www.ign.com) has been named the UK’s favourite video games website in the largest internet user study of its kind– the NetObserver Awards, conducted by Harris Interactive.

Votes were cast by NetObserver’s panel of UK internet users, mainstream consumers aged 16 and over.? Members of the panel were eligible to have their say after being asked if they were video gamers and whether they had visited a?games website in between March and June this year.?

Crowning IGN as the UK’s favourite video games website, it beat a varied selection to the top spot, including the sites of platform holders Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
