San Mateo, Calif.– May 25, 2010– Fans of the iconic TV series, Knight Rider, will get their K.I.T.T. fix with Knight Rider: The Game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Universal Partnerships&Licensing developed the game with Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American subsidiary of HUDSON SOFT, on behalf of NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group. Knight Rider: The Game is now available on the iTunes App Store for $4.99.

The original“Knight Rider” ran on NBC from September 1982 to August 1986. The series, from Glen A. Larson, starred David Hasselhoff as crime fighter“Michael Knight,” and featured the voice of actor William Daniels as the iconic K.I.T.T. car (Knight Industries Two Thousand), a Pontiac Trans-Am controlled by a highly sophisticated computer.
