Hidden Achievement Announces Mobile Release Date and Major Update for The Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game

AUSTIN, Texas, December 20, 2017 -- Independent game developer Hidden Achievement today announced the mobile release date for The Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game, and some details about a major update to The Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game on Steam and the Mac App Store.

The game will be available for the first time on iOS, Android, and Amazon Kindle, on January 7, 2018.  The mobile edition will include the same gameplay that is in the Windows and Mac edition of the game, plus the new features and improvements going into today’s update.  As an added bonus, players will be able to play network games between all platforms.

In today’s update, the game introduces support for three new languages:  French, German, and Russian.  The game is also now available to Linux players for the first time, via Steam.

In addition, this update includes a variety of minor new features that players requested, as well as other usability improvements -- including options to enable or disable various notifications, and better network game setup and discovery.

Based on the bestselling Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, The Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game was originally designed by Eric B. Vogel, and published by Evil Hat Productions as a tabletop game, where 1-5 players take the roles of Harry Dresden and his friends, to solve cases and defeat foes from the Dresden Files novels.  Hidden Achievement released the electronic edition of this game for Windows and Mac on October 30th, 2017.  It can currently be purchased from Steam, and the Mac App Store for $19.99 USD.
