San Francisco - December 20, 2011
The islands of Pocket God are full of mysterious powers to be unleashed on unsuspecting Pygmies– and now players can harness the sadistic power of the underwater world to find new ways to dispatch the poor, immortal islanders! Bolt Creative, a San Francisco-based developer of original mobile applications and games, has today launched the latest content update for Pocket God. Pocket God Episode 42: Bone Soup unlocks the death-dealing capabilities of the ancient pyramid on the underwater coral island– allowing players to harness the elements of fire, ice, oil, and acid, and air and unleash them on unsuspecting Pygmies.
By activating the correct symbols on the pyramid, players will be able to paint the screen with swaths of flame, ribbons of ice, slicks of oil, clouds of acid, and bubbles of air to torment, or delight, those helpless Pygmies. This update also includes a new Candyland skin pack allowing sweet-toothed gamers to deck out the islands with delicious looking treats. To see the power of the pyramid in action, as well as the tasty treats included in the new skin pack, check out the update video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WUFNCaWHgo.
But that’s not all! Just in time for the holidays, Episode 42 adds a new Fishmas dance number to the islands of Pocket God. This year’s rendition, dubbed“12 Days of Fishmas,” can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbM2a1HV2Qo. The cheerful, death-filled animated short also includes a sneak peak at Bolt Creative’s next game– Pocket God: The Runs!
The newly updated Pocket God can be downloaded today for $0.99 in the iTunes App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pocket-god/id301387274?mt=8.
