Gnomon School Showcases 2011 Student Art

To celebrate another successful year, Gnomon School of Visual Effects will be opening their annual Student Gallery Show on Saturday, December 3, 2011. The exhibit opening will be held from 7-11pm at Hollywood’s premier entertainment art destination– Gnomon Gallery– and will recognize some of the best work from both current students and recent graduates featuring characters, creatures, models, matte paintings and more. Gnomon School boasts a 93% job placement rate for graduates, who often go on to work on the biggest films and games in the world, including“Super 8,”“Cowboys&Aliens” and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The event is open to public and will include music, drinks, food and access to the artists themselves.

For more than a decade, Gnomon has prepared hundreds of artists for careers in the entertainment industry. Offering training exclusively from working professionals at top studios, graduates emerge with key industry contacts and ready to work on the next big blockbuster game or film, contributing design, animation, effects, characters, creatures, models, matte paintings and more to many of our favorite films, TV shows and AAA games.
