GEEK - The place to Meet Make & Play

“We are all makers not consumers”

GEEK is a festival of Play and Games held annually in Margate Kent but now the organisers are ready to take their own brand of quirky fun to pastures new.

August 29 th - 31 st will see GEEK visiting Swale and Medway for three days of games and play, before heading off to Birmingham where they will be joined by Replay Events for three more days of superhero themed fun in the digital heart of Birmingham, The Custard Factory.

Organiser Kate Kneale says “GEEK is all about bringing people together and celebrating creative passion and skill. Each event will be different as it will draw on local groups and reflect their passions and expertise. Some will be Retro focused while others will be more about Indie games or craft workshops. But they will all have a mix of activities where people can Meet, Make and Play.”

GEEK will be back in Margate in February, but in the meantime details of the Swale & Medway and Birmingham GEEK events can be found on www.GEEK-play.com

MEET – Friends and family, artists, makers and inventors.
