Gamescom 2014: Media Presentations Available for Afro Samurai 2 and New Viking RPG Kyn

From August 13th-15th, indie publisher Versus Evil will be at Gamescom 2014 in Cologne presenting game demos for two upcoming releases in the business area, booth 4.1/B/23.

Firstly, a world exclusive demo of Afro Samurai 2 (final name pending) developed by Redacted Studios, will showcase a first look of the game. Scheduled for launch later this year on PC and next gen consoles, the upcoming third person action game features an original storyline, new playable characters, and improved special moves and combos, firmly establishing the franchise as the undisputed leader in dynamic dismemberment.

Secondly, the development team from Tangrin, an independent studio based in the Netherlands, will be showcasing a first hands-on press demo of Kyn , a humorous Viking inspired RPG.  Kyn features team based combat, exploration, and deep crafting systems set against an original and unique fantasy world where magic and the environment work hand in hand to overcome all obstacles. Currently in development Kyn is scheduled for launch in early 2015.  To learn more about Kyn check out: http://www.kyngame.com

Versus Evil will also be showing off The Banner Saga on tablet and the latest Early Access build of Habitat: A Thousand Years of Orbit in the lounge area of their booth for any editors that haven’t yet had the chance to check out these games.

For Afro Samurai 2 and Kyn, we are scheduling 30-minute (each) slots for game presentations and interviews with the developers. These slots will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis from 9am-6pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during Gamescom. To reserve your place, contact: aidan@planofattack.biz
