Berlin/ Hamburg, 1 April 2014: The Berlin-based games performance marketing specialists at crobo ( www.crobo.com) have officially acquired TrafficCaptain. With the acquisition of the Hamburg-based Games Performance Network, the crobo team has now grown to boast over 50 employees. Together, the employees will be split into two different teams, in two different locations. This gives crobo the ability to have a strong, personal relationship with the countless online and mobile game developers in the German games hub that is Hamburg. Advertisers and publishers in the crobo advertising network profit from the years’ worth of experience of the TrafficCaptain team. At the same time, the reach of crobo has also expanded. In particular, Latin America and Asia are two areas in which crobo has gained a valuable foothold for the acquisition of new users for both mobile and browser-based free-to-play games.

New employees, an office in Hamburg and the expansion of their already extensive reach: crobo remains on a course towards further growth. Sandra Fisher, as the former TrafficCaptain COO, will continue to lead the Hamburg office and will ensure the seamless integration of the teams and new processes. TrafficCaptain was founded in 2012 as a Games Performance Network from the Hamburg investment powerhouse iVentureCapital. iVentureCapital is specialized in the games industry. With TrafficCaptain, the venture capitalists recently managed their first successful exit of a founded company.

In regards to the price of the acquisition, it has been decided by both parties not to release any numbers.
