Tuesday, Gamercamp festival director Jaime Woo announced Ken Yeung, lead programmer of the award-winning Super T.I.M.E. Force, and Pat Redding, lead game designer of the highly-anticipated Splinter Cell: Black List, and artists from NYU's acclaimed No Quarter exhibition as the latest talent to the 2012 roster. They join already announced innovators in the field, including Deus Ex: Human Revolution lead writer Mary DeMarle, Papo&Yo creative director Vander Caballero, and Dyad creator Shawn McGrath. "Capy's Super T.I.M.E. Force and Ubisoft Toronto's Splinter Cell: Black List are two of the most anticipated games of 2013 not just in Toronto but globally," said Woo. "We're excited that Gamercamp attendees will get to hear about them first-hand."
In total, attendees will have over 25 presentations to choose from at Gamercamp, in addition to 30 new and in-progress games to play. Toronto will also get a taste of New York, with eight games commissioned by NYU's No Quarter Exhibition and curated by Charles Pratt. No Quarter will be set up at the Gamercamp Social, with games by artists including Zach Gage, Robin Arnott, Noah Sasso, Ramiro Corbetta, Margaret Robinson, Terry Cavanaugh, Mark Essen (Messhof), and Matt Parker. Gamercamp is one of Canada’s largest games festivals and brings global talent to Toronto. Over 1,000 people attend Gamercamp annually, and this year should prove no exception. Early bird pricing for passes are in effect until September 6th and available at Gamercamp.ca.

ABOUT SUPER T.I.M.E. FORCE
Super T.I.M.E. Force is a side-scrolling shooter in the vein of Contra and Gunstar Heroes with a twist: in the game, whenever a player dies and restarts a level, they play alongside a ghost version of themselves that had just died. Over time, players will accumulate an army of ghost selves to help overcome levels.?
The game, a recipient of the Microsoft XBLA Award and recently announced as a Fantastic Arcade selection, comes from Capy Games, the innovative studio behind the critically-acclaimed Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP.
