Gaijin Games to release BIT.TRIP RUN! for iOS!

Greetings, journalist type! This is a friendly heads up that BIT.TRIP RUN! from Gaijin Games (hey, that’s us!) will be releasing tomorrow (October 31 - Halloween!) on the App Store! Stop what you’re doing right this instant and go check it out! Well actually, finish reading this press release first.

For those who missed our initial reveal, BIT.TRIP RUN! is the iOS version of the much-loved, super awesome Runner2. Although it features the same art style and strange sense of humor, it’s much more than just a port. We’ve perfected the controls for touch screens, tweaked the level design, and gone to great lengths to ensure that Reverse Merman remains as majestic and lovable as ever. Oh, that wonderful fish.

And in the spirit of Halloween, it’s also possible you’ll spot a new, creepy entity roaming the Supernature. We can neither confirm nor deny.

Alright, enough with these paragraphs. Here’s a list of what you can expect from BIT.TRIP RUN!

  • 3 gorgeous worlds
  • 30 normal levels. Everyone can play!
  • 12 “Challenge” levels. Are you good enough?
  • 15 “Retro” levels. What a blast from the past!
  • 8 amazing characters to play as. Including a pickled pickle!
  • 40 unlockable costumes
  • 3 exhilarating boss battles
Not to mention an upcoming (and free!) update, which will include:
  • 2 additional worlds
  • 20 EPIC levels
  • 8 more challenging challenges!
  • 10 additional retro levels!
  • 2 boss battles!
The game will be a premium title, and retail for $3.99.
