Signs two-year agreement, handles online sales of Capcom's Collector's Edition products
Digital River (NASDAQ: DRIV) a leading provider of global e-commerce solutions, today announced that the company has signed a two year contract extension with Capcom Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment. Under the agreement, Digital River will continue to manage Capcom’s online store at http://shop.capcom.com to support the sale and physical delivery of Capcom Entertainment products in North America. In addition, Digital River is providing added e-marketing services and optimised e-commerce and distribution capabilities to assist in the sales of Collector’s Edition products exclusive to the Capcom online store.

Capcom is using the new Digital River Limited Edition e-commerce solution to market its Collector’s Edition products through its e-commerce store. With the solution, Capcom can run a specialty store fully optimised to promote specific price points, offer extra controls over available inventory and integrate the latest social media marketing tools. To increase its market reach and site traffic, Capcom also is using Digital River’s managed e-marketing programmes, which include search engine optimisation.
