Deathfire received a new pitch!

“Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore”  is currently kickstarting at  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/g3studios/deathfire-ruins-of-nethermore  and has reached $110,000 in funding so far.

The game is also well on its way to  being greenlit on Steam, having reached the  86% mark in just 13 days with over 7,700 Yes votes. Clearly, there is interest in a traditional turn-based PRG like “Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore,” we just need to tap into it properly — and you can help us do that.

Yesterday we replaced the original pitch video of the campaign, which was directed at hard-core role-playing gamers, with a new pitch video that is more conversational in tone and targets gamers who may not be entirely familiar with the core mechanics of a traditional role-playing game.

While also offering glimpses at new images and video clips, the new pitch video is designed to give the campaign another push by speaking to gamers who may not yet have committed to the project.

It would be wonderful if you could let your readers know about this new pitch video so that they can go back and take another look at the project, and hopefully decide to lend their support. With 11 days still to go in the campaign, you can make all the difference and help us get the word out about this incredible opportunity to get “Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore” funded and  help to bring back a genre and art form that has been entirely lost to the commercialization of mainstream games.

Please support our cause and help us rally true role-playing fans all over the world!

Thank you so much for your support,

Guido Henkel and the entire Deathfire Team
