Cie Games Bolsters Management Team, Bringing Experienced Industry Executives On Board to Spur Growth in Mobile Game Development

Matt Nutt to Lead Studiorsquo;s Business Development and Operations; and Chong Ahn to Head Mobile Game Design

LONG BEACH, Calif.ndash; July 30 , 2013ndash; Cie Games, a leading developer and publisher of mobile and social games, strengthens its executive roster with the appointment of Matt Nutt and Chong Ahn. Matt assumes the role of vice president of business development and operations, while Chong Ahn also joins the company as executive producer, overseeing mobile game design and creative direction.

Cie Games publishes the popular Facebook platform game Car Town , which recently celebrated its third year of live service and continued growth with nearly 65 million registered players to date. The studio also is in active development on Racing Rivals, a cutting-edge mobile drag racing game featuring real-time competitive multiplayer and social features, a first for the genre. Racing Rivals is scheduled to launch later this summer.

Matt brings to the award-winning studio more than 16 years of experience in e-commerce and videogames. He oversees business development, marketing and business intelligence while leading policies and business objectives development for Cie Gamesrsquo; growing games portfolio. He joins Cie Games from Square Enix where he was part of a new studio publishing free-to-play mobile and PC online titles based on original IP. Previously, Matt held management positions at Blizzard Entertainment, where he was involved in the publishing of record-breaking titles, including Diablo III, StarCraft II and World of Warcraft expansions. He also was a founding shareholder and early member of the Expedia team incubated within Microsoft.

Chong brings 10 years of gaming industry experience to Cie Games. He also recently joined the company from Square Enix, where he led efforts to launch game brands and digital initiatives. Previously Chong was with Ubisoftrsquo;s Digital Publishing Group as a game manager, overseeing the development of mobile, social and free-to-play titles based on notable franchises like Might and Magic, Tom Clancy and licensed properties such as The Smurfs. In his role as executive producer at Cie Games, Chong will help drive the creative development and product management of the companyrsquo;s growing mobile games portfolio.
