Charlie Dog announces its latest game, Tilt&Swipe

Charlie Dog Games proudly announces its latest creation Tilt&Swipe. You need manual dexterity, quick wits and puzzle solving skills to get through the 40 levels. The game, and the first three sets of levels, are free for the first twenty minutes.

Tilt&Swipe controls are simplicity itself. Twist and turn the phone/tablet to roll the blocks about in the box. Once you have two or more blocks of the same colour touching you can remove them by swiping over them with your finger. Remove three or more for a score bonus. But watch out, if you accidentally leave a lone block behind then you start over. It's simple, novel and completely addictive. Anyone can do it!

Different coloured blocks have different point values so getting a high score requires more strategy than just removing all the blocks. Use the joker carefully to remove difficult blocks but also to boost your score with big multipliers. A Finesse bonus is awarded if long lines of blocks are removed in quick succession. Tony Oakden has been developing games for over 25 years; he started as a developer for the Acorn BBC Micro before working with some of the biggest studios on some of the best known AAA titles, including Driver and Bioshock. Tilt and Swipe is Tony’s third casual puzzle game and is his best mobile game yet. Tony assembled a team of enthusiastic colleges from his current place of employment AIE to develop this new take on the match 3 genre.

Tony’s desire with all his games is to make unique and original high quality hand crafted games. Tilt and Swipe has taken a year to refine and has been iterated heavily during development, Each Iteration a response to Feedback regularly gathered from industry peers and the students he teaches at AIE.

For Sebastian and Dan the chance to work with a true industry veteran has been a learning experience that has pushed them to new level of skill.
