Boulder Dash® - XL™ coming to SmartPhones&Tablets this Holiday Season!

Kaliningrad– 31 August, 2011– HeroCraft Ltd and First Star Software, Inc. are pleased to announce the development of Boulder Dash? -XL™, the critically acclaimed new version of the 80's retro classic, for SmartPhones and Tablet devices, including iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7.?

Since its original release in 1984, many millions of units have been sold in the Boulder Dash? series across numerous computer and video game platforms. Four Boulder Dash? games have been released into the coin-operated arcades. Bursting onto the gaming scene nearly 30 years ago Boulder Dash's brand of frantic action and mind bending puzzle fun has seen the original game described as“one of the finest video games ever written”.

Recently launched on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade service, Boulder Dash? - XL™ has received warm praise from the critics.? These ports to a broad selection of mobile devices will help to ensure long-time fans as well as a new generation of players have the chance to help Rockford™ and Crystal™ navigate through numerous caves to collect sparkling diamonds; devious traps; while avoiding monstrous enemies; and, of course, those frightful falling boulders!
