Black Friday Game Music Bundle Launches Four-Day Internet Festival

Blistering deals for buyers, exclusive new content, behind-the-scenes interviews and the biggest Game Music Bundle yet

San Francisco, California - November 29, 2013 - On the largest deal weekend of the year, Loudr is proud to introduce Game Music Festival: a four-day live e-commerce extravaganza that features Game Music Bundle 6, themed collections, interviews, audio commentaries and reviews. The online celebration runs from Black Friday through Cyber Monday at http://gamemusicfestival.com

Game Music Festival is a holiday weekend destination for gamers and game music enthusiasts to discover a plethora of content. Features include an exclusive new album release from artists such as Disasterpeace ( Fez), interviews with musicians such as Taylor Davis (known for her epic violin videogame covers) and composer Grant Kirkhope ( Banjo-Kazooie), and surprise appearances from Internet luminaries such as bearded, cat-loving game music a cappella sensation Smooth McGroove. Updated hourly, the site also features the largest Game Music Bundle yet, offering more than 20 game soundtrack albums, including the first official digital release of the entire soundtrack to Jonathan Blow's Braid.

Today also marks the two-year anniversary of the Game Music Bundle, a quarterly bundle that launched in 2011 and has generated over half a million dollars for videogame musicians. Like previous bundles, the pay-what-you-want Game Music Bundle unlocks five soundtracks for just $1, and over 20 soundtracks for $10.

"Our bundles are a great opportunity for fans to get great deals on music they know, and discover great music in the process," notes Josh Whelchel, Chief Technology Officer of Loudr and co-founder of the Game Music Bundle. "The Game Music Festival is a further evolution of that idea; we are bridging the gap between the fan and musician while simultaneously finding new ways for the community to discuss, share, and ultimately support each other."

Visitors to Game Music Festival will have the opportunity to connect with other fans through the site, and will have access to limited-time deals on dozens of themed bundles, including genre and artist-specific collections dedicated to chiptunes, Final Fantasy arrangements, videogame rock and metal covers, and many more.
