F2P Summit, RichMix, London, 24 April 2014
F2P Summit returns on 24 April and organiser, Tandem Events, today announced the first two speakers. Jessica Sachs, director of developer relations at Big Fish, and Tim Nilsson, managing director of glispa, will be among the stellar line-up of free to play experts taking to the podium to share their knowledge and experiences with conference delegates.
In an insider presentation for F2P developers and publishers, Big Fish’s Jessica Sachs will reveal ‘ The Top 5 Mistakes in Free to Play and What to Learn from Them’.
"As the producer of Big Fish Casino, a 2013 top-ten grossing app across iOS, we have done many things right at Big Fish, but we’ve also done some things wrong,” said Jessica.
“My session will be honest and open as I reveal the Big Fish highs and lows and what we learned as a result. I’ll also unveil a range of case studies highlighting the five most common mistakes in free to play and the business model’s best practices, including ways to improve monetisation, what metrics to focus on and planning for the right amount of content.”
Tim Nilsson, managing director of glispa, a global media agency for the mobile and digital entertainment industry, plans to open delegates’ eyes to potential market opportunities in the BRIC territories with his session: ‘ Success is Possible in BRIC Markets – Here’s What You Need to Know to Make it Happen’.
“Everyone in the games industry is eyeing up the huge commercial potential of the BRIC Countries – Brazil, Russia, India and China. My talk will help F2P Summit delegates learn more about these markets and so have a better chance of success in them. I’m really looking forward to speaking at the conference in April and seeing everyone’s reaction to our current assessment and future predictions for these territories as there will be quite a few surprises “
The F2P Summit takes place on Thursday 24 April 2014 at RichMix in London. Registration is open now at www.f2p-summit.com. Passes cost just £195 with the early bird rate until 26 March 2014.
