Appnext enables Android Developers to Triple Their Revenue with the New Ad SDK

In addition, Appnext is enabling developers to offer native advertising through the company’s new native ad API

London, UK – January 9, 2014, With Android developers earning .19 cents for every $1 earned by iOS developers per download, the Appnext application monetization and discovery network is now offering Android developers added income: the company’s new Ad Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) triples ad click-through rates and eCPMs.

“Appnext’s new SDK is generating three times the revenue we previously generated with Appnext,” said Piotr Klimko, Owner, Advanced Tiny Lab. “The new Appnext ad units are generating more revenue than any of our other Android ad units.”

Specifically, the new Appnext SDK for Android developers brings the following functionality:

·         Full screen single ad units replacing previous format which enabled swiping for additional ads;

·         Faster loading page with a bigger install button;

·         New ‘Send by Email’ option, which facilitates sending an email with the download link for the app being advertised

According to Appnext, the ‘Send by Email’ functionality is providing an incremental gain in downloads from users who otherwise might not have downloaded the offered application.

Appnext is presently working with 2,500 Android developers, enabling them to increase their ad revenue and attain profitability through larger, faster loading and better performing ads now available through the company’s new SDK.

“The new Appnext SDK provides one of the best performing ad units available for Android developers today,” said Elad Natanson, founder, Appnext. “From what we’re seeing, our new SDK is enabling Android developers to earn ad revenue equal to iOS developers.”

A new native ad API has also been made available which facilitates any Android developer to easily create their own native ad offers to generate an additional revenue stream. Appnext native ads appear as an extension of the app’s content and can be customized according to any app designer’s specifications. For example, an anti-virus app developer can create a native ad unit which offers complementary security solutions. A game developer can create relevant ads inside game messages, scoreboards, etc. Native ads are an effective way of recommending new and relevant apps by better integrating the offer into the app design and user experience. As a result, native ads outperform run of network ads.

“We’re excited about our new Native Ads API which enables Android developers to increase revenue from a new contextually relevant stream of native in-app ads and finally earn the level of revenue which they are entitled to,” added Natanson.
