Applifier Launches FaceCam for Everyplay® Replays as Replays Shared Grow 750% from Q1 / 2013

Players can now share personal video and audio commentary in replays of leading mobile games Badland, Turbo Racing League, Nimble Quest and more

SAN FRANCISCO– June 27, 2013– Applifier Ltd. today launched FaceCam for Everyplay? replays, that records both the mobile game and the player themselves simultaneously into a social video. The unique FaceCam feature enables mobile gamers to create and share highly popular“Let’s Play” style videos to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, where gaming has become the second largest genre after music videos.

Video sharing is rapidly becoming an essential part of gaming. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles have announced built-in video sharing features, and Twitch streaming video platform has attracted tens of millions of viewers to PC eSports. Everyplay is pioneering video sharing for mobile games with its social game replays network and has already been integrated into over 85 mobile games, including Apple Design Award winner Badland, Apple App Store TOP10 game Turbo Racing League from Dreamworks and Rovio’s hit Bad Piggies puzzle game.

“We can't wait to get Everyplay with FaceCam in front of Nimble Quest players, so they can share with the world just how intense and fun the game can be!” said Ian Marsh, co-founder of NimbleBit, whose games Pocket Frogs, Tiny Towers, Pocket Planes and Nimble Quest are all iOS App Store chart toppers.

Everyplay’s popularity is in rapid growth with mobile gamers currently sharing 2 minutes of gameplay video on Everyplay every minute. Total duration of social video shared by players in Q2 2013 has grown over 750% compared to Q1 2013 and in the last 30 days alone the total minutes of social video shared has grown over 25%.

“Game developers and players alike are embracing Everyplay for sharing and watching funny, skillful and creative replays. This drives substantial improvement in organic discovery and improved retention for games,” said Jussi Laakkonen, founder&CEO of Applifier.“We are already seeing players who share great content become stars to follow on Everyplay and today’s release of FaceCam will further that by enabling players to share deeper, more meaningful game experiences.”

Everyplay is a free service for developers and players, and available for all iOS devices. Players are invited to join the Everyplay network free at www.everyplay.com.
