Announcement - Splee & Gløb: Monster Defense (Mac/PC/Linux)

Splee & Glob: Monster Defense is an Action Real Time Strategy game for PC, Mac and Linux. Potentially available in the future for Wii U, PlayStation 4 and XBox One, depending on the success of our Kickstarter campaign.

In Splee & Glob, the player defends a bizarre monster-filled world against A.I.-driven robots through third person combat and clever tower-building. While introducing new challenges through non-linearity, the game avoids players being overwhelmed in online play. Thus, it is suitable for die-hard genre fans and at the same time provides a frustration-free experience for casual gamers.

Kickstarter

The game is currently under development and you can help us to bring it to life by supporting our Kickstarter campaign here. Click here to visit the Kickstarter campaign.

We are also running a Steam Greenlight campaign here: Click here to visit the Steam Greenlight page.

The World of Splee & Glob

In a strange world inhabited by creatures which you might call monsters, there was peace, but it could not last. One day a crazed robot army arrived with the sole objective to exploit the planet's precious resources. It's now up to the nerdy engineer Splee and her hunky pal Gløb to stop the invaders.

In Splee & Gløb: Monster Defense, up to two players take control of the unlikely couple to fend off invaders through strategic tower-building, crowd control and dynamic third-person combat.

About Frame6

Frame6 was founded in early 2013 by four alumni of the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. The team received public prototype funding by the federal state of Northrhine-Westfalia for Splee & Gløb, which allowed us to develop the project to the point where we can show you the prototype of our game here on Kickstarter. During the prototype phase, Oliver Eberlei from Hammer Labs joined the project. He previously produced the award-winning title "Farm for your Life" which will shortly be available on Steam.

Frame6 and the company's founders previously worked for clients such as Ubisoft Blue Byte, Crytek and Rondomedia and developed the official Crysis board game which is waiting to go into stores.

About Application Systems

Founded in 1985 software developer Application Systems has seen many of the ups and downs in this business. Originally developers and publishers for the Atari ST Computer series until its demise when we moved our focused to Mac software development, localisation and distribution. In 2013 we successfully ran our first Kickstarter project (over 160% funded) for GhostControl Inc. - a turn based strategy game developed in cooperation with bumblebee. For our backers we delivered many more features than promised and the game has recently been released on Steam - Click here for the GhostContol Inc. Steam page

Some of the company’s history includes hardware products too - like the famous "Force Feedback Underwear" or the iPhone2Mac products, see video here - iPhone2Mac video
