Allegorithmic Announces "Substance" Session at GDC 2008

Introduction to New Generation of Texturing Middleware for Creating Visually Superior, Real-time Content for High-speed Streaming and Changing Environments

CLERMONT-FERRAND, France— Feb. 12, 2008— Allegorithmic, an emerging 3D technology company developing advanced texturing tools for real-time 3D content creation, today announced it will sponsor a“Substance” session during the 2008 Game Developers? Conference (GDC). This session will demonstrate how Substance, Allegorithmic’s new generation of texturing middleware, is redefining production and distribution pipelines for next-generation game developers. Being shown for the first time at GDC, Substance provides game developers with a professional set of tools for creating high-quality textures that are generated in real-time to optimize data streaming and create changing environments.

The“Substance” session is scheduled for Wed., Feb. 20, 12-1 p.m. in room 134. The session will feature Dr. Sebastien Deguy, president and founder of Allegorithmic, as well as speakers from NCsoft Europe and industry influencers who have worked with such high-profile publishers as Electronic Arts and Ubisoft Montreal.
