As massively multiplayer online strategy game that simulates business and political life in America, Rise of the Tycoon offers a living world, where the power of citizens matters, where big business needs the backing of politicians and those same politicians in turn need the financial benefits from business allies. Through strong networking with other players and being able to properly balance the weight of business and politics, the true tycoon can find the space to rise up and make their mark on the world.

After choosing selecting a server, players choose a home town and begin their slow and steady climb into the life of a tycoon. By interacting with other players in their region, the choices that each tycoon makes will begin to affect the economic and political reality of their city, state and country.
