After a successful Kickstarter campaign, No Time To Explain went onto Greenlight, being one of the first game on Steam's crowd-sourcing platform, and 2 months later it got enough support to be officially accepted into Steam.
No Time To Explain revolves around ribs in people's eyes, giant enemy crabs and jetpack guns. It's also a platformer game with time paradoxes.
Steam was the target platform from the get-go and it took over a year to get No Time To Explain on it, and it was made possible only because of the support of the community behind the game.
The Steam version features:
- Steam Achievements
- Steam Cloud Saves
- Lots of ribs in people's eyes
- Hundreds of levels
-- Including levels made by our Kickstarter supporters, and even a dedicated Minecraft universe since Notch helped us a lot during the Kickstarter campaign
- Many bug fixes since initial release
Initially the game was released standalone and followed an iterative development cycle where first part of the game was released, followed up by a second "Season" where the story concluded. The money from "Season 1" was used to fund "Season 2". Now No Time To Explain is merged into a single game.
No Time To Explain releases on the 25th of January on Steam for Windows. It will retail for $10.
