Northern Tale is a time management title by Realore that was previously created for PC. The game topped the charts of major game portals such as GameHouse and Big Fish Games for weeks and got a positive review from Gamezebo. Today Realore announced that Northern Tale is available for free download on the Windows Store. Now all Windows 8 users can discover the world of mythology, magic and vikings.

The game starts on the shores of the Great Northern Sea. Brave king of vikings Ragnar comes back home to his beloved wife only to find out what a terrible tragedy had occurred in his absence. The evil witch Gesta attacked his village and brought destruction and despair to the world which turned black and white. The most horrible thing is that Ragnar's beautiful daughters, Summer, Autumn and Winter, were stolen and fell victims to the evil curse.

Players' mission is to travel with Ragnar and his two assistants– a wise Druid and a powerful Exorcist– and help them save three sorcerer-princesses. Along the way players will revive the deceased lands and fight off the dark servants of the evil witch.

In Northern Tale players will discover the world rich in mythology, where they can control three different characters and color the black and white world. They will experience the story set in 3 season themed episodes full of magical adventures and supported by detailed graphics.
