(N.B. The monthly games chart is based on titles released and reviewed in the last month. The apps chart is based on titles reviewed over the last three months. Hence, this is not a cumulative chart and earlier released titles may have higher scores.)
At the top of November's Android Qi games chart sits arguably the highest-profile mash-up of the year: Angry Birds Star Wars. Rovio's familiar physics-puzzler strikes back with lightsabers, force powers, and a pair of hapless droids. Behind it in second place, Expendable Rearmed marries old skool shoot-'em-up gameplay with next-gen 3D visuals, and places you in a seamless yet tremendously detailed futuristic world. In fourth place, meanwhile, is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which is every inch the modern console arcade racer. Stepping back into the past once again, we have Knights of Pen&Paper at #5. In this tabletop RPG from Behold Studios, you play the part of both hero and dungeon master. Clever twist, huh.
Topping the Android Qi apps chart this month is Falcon for Twitter (Donate). To avoid any confusion, this isn't the Falcon app itself, but rather a means for helping fund the continued development of the popular Twitter client. This charitable app is followed closely by Thumbelina: 3D Popup Book, an interactive and vibrant 3D pop-up book for kids. In third place, Let It Shop Pro is the perfect tool for the festive shopping period. It's a shopping list app that helps you keep track of what you need to buy - and how much your latest jaunt around the shops is going to cost you. Finally, down in ninth, we have PicShop - Photo Editor. Yes, it's yet another app for adjusting and modifying your photos, but this one has a lovely clean interface and intuitive sharing options.
We'll continue to provide an updated listing each and every month, together with a round-up of the year. For all the up-to-date information on which Android games, apps, and publishers are reviewing best, head on over to the Android Quality Index now.
