(N.B. The monthly games chart is based on titles released and reviewed in the last month. The apps chart is based on titles reviewed over the last three months. Hence, this is not a cumulative chart and earlier released titles may have higher scores.)

Word Wonders: The Tower of Babel has made itself clearly heard at the top of the November iPhone Qi chart. This intriguing mixture of Scrabble and classic RPG elements is a towering monument to the power of words. Following closely behind in second is Namco Networks's Lazy Raiders, which plays out like an elaborate take on the ball-maze games you find in Christmas crackers and cereal boxes - but with a tongue-in-cheek Indiana Jones vibe. Down in fifth place, we have arguably the highest-profile mash-up of the year in Angry Birds Star Wars. Rovio's familiar physics-puzzler strikes back with lightsabers, force powers, and a pair of hapless droids. In the #9 position, meanwhile, Dream of Pixels turns classic puzzler Tetris on its head and marries its gentle gameplay with a lovely ambient soundtrack. Bliss.

Over in the world of digital applications, Where is my Little Square Bear takes the top honours in Qi' s November iPhone app chart. It's another of those popular interactive pop-up books for kids, which work so well on modern smartphones. In second place, Post Secrets - Share your secret invites you to share your secrets with the world. This anonymous-yet-social approach is a great way to get something off your chest! Like a pregnancy. If you prefer real fishing to fishing for secrets, though, Pro Angler FL should be more up your street. It helps you identify, catch, and cook 110 saltwater species from the world-famous Florida waters. Finally, down in eighth place, we have Polar. With this handy app installed on you blower, you can quickly set up polls for your friends, using images from your camera or the internet to get a quick idea of the consensus before you act on something.

We'll continue to provide an updated listing each and every month, together with a round-up of the year. For all the up-to-date information on which iPhone games, apps, and publishers are reviewing best, head on over to the  iPhone Quality Index  now.
