Seattle, 21st November 2012– Last Friday on November 16th 2012, Refract Studios completed their Kickstarter campaign for Distance, an experimental parkour-inspired survival racing game set in a mysterious dystopian city. The game is a spiritual successor to the multi-award-winning student game Nitronic Rush. The final funding amount on Kickstarter was $161,981, over $36,000 above their targeted goal.

In the final week of their campaign alone, Refract raised $83,681 and doubled their funding on Kickstarter. That rocketed them past their first stretch goal of $150,000, which included full Replay and Spectator modes.

With the addition of PayPal, they raised a bit more after the Kickstarter closed, placing the current funding at a combined total of $165,432. Reaching their second stretch goal of $165,000, the team is excited to announce that a randomly generated track system will be officially implemented and included in the game.
