San Francisco, California – October 25, 2012–  Helloooo, San Francisco! Ümloud!, the Bay Area’s biggest annual non-profit gaming fundraiser, today officially announced that Tim Schafer, gaming industry giant and renowned rock god, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for its 4 ^th annual event. Benefiting Child’s Play, a gamer-targeted charity that supports children’s hospitals around the world,Ümloud! returns to San Francisco’s DNA Lounge Thursday, December 6, for an encore engagement of  raucous  Rock Band 3 performance and’tis-the-season celebration.

Raising the whammy bar on this year’s proceedings, the great Tim Schafer will lead the evening’s activities. Celebrated for  Psychonauts, beloved for  Brütal Legend, feted for  Grim Fandango, and founder of San Francisco-based Double Fine Productions, Schafer will lend his signature wit to the festivities, introducing each of the dozens of participating bands that will perform, playing  Rock Band 3 set lists and peripherals.

Participating acts will receive entry toÜmloud! for the entire band and ten of their biggest fans.
