TAMPA, FL. -- OCTOBER 25, 2012 -- Gamieon is proud to announce the release of Hyperspace Pinball for the Windows and Macintosh platforms! 

Hyperspace Pinball, a game that combines the best of pinball and an arcade shooter, is now available for download from Desura, the leader in independent game developer distribution services. Windows and Macintosh home users may download it from the website at http://desura.com/games/hyperspace-pinball . 

Hyperspace Pinball is a product of the independent game development company Gamieon, Inc. The objective of the game is to fight off enemy aliens by hitting them with a light ball using four opposable flippers of the classic pinball genre in an effort to save the galaxy. 

Features of the game include twenty different levels with unique enemy aliens, power-ups and enhancements to improve the player's effectiveness, awards and unlockable special features for performing certain feats in the game, several different modes of play and global leaderboards to compete against other players. 

Originally released in August 2011 on the mobile gaming platform, an older version of Hyperspace Pinball is available on the App Store and Google Play. A software update to bring these same great features to those versions is scheduled to be released in November 2012.
