Be there or... be square!
Paris, October 18, 2012– Is it really hip to be square? It sure is today as Square Planet finally gets released ! Majaka is happy to announce that its second iOS title can be downloaded for free here.
“ Surely, you often wonder what it must be like to be a round ball on a square planet, right? Okay, maybe you don't”, asked Gaël Giraudeau, Creative Director and co-founder at Majaka.
“ Well, we do, so we set out to answer this very question anyway with this colorful, action-packed adventure game that will keep you on the *edge* of your seat”, added Nicolas Godement-Berline, President and also a co-founder, mostly in charge of writing press releases and coming up with clever puns (he thinks).
Following the runaway success of Ski Champion, now boasting over 400,000 installs, Majaka is upping the ante with a whole different ball game that the studio hopes will not drive players to the edge.
“ Making Square Planet took 6 months. It’s a platforming game so we paid particular attention to offering tight controls, diversified graphics and inventive level design”, said Giraudeau.“ From bats to trees to dog poo, everything is square and edgy on the Square Planet!”
