Gadget Show Live Christmas, 30 November-2 December 2012, ExCeL, London: www.gadgetshowlive.net/tickets
Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation will exhibit at Gadget Show Live Christmas with their largest ever public showing in the UK since 2004.
Launch event Gadget Show Live Christmas takes place at ExCeL in London on 30 December to 2 December 2012. It is the sister show to Gadget Show Live, which has been held annually at the NEC each Easter since 20009, attracting more than 300,000 consumers in that time. More than 150 exhibitors will showcase thousands of the best pieces of tech for consumers to try and buy.
Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation will feature in the show’s Game Zone alongside Electronic Arts and retailers Game and Overclockers. The area will also host the adrenaline-packed Gaming Stage everyone from hardcore gamers to novice players can try out the very latest console and PC games, take on other gamers in challenges and compete in mass gaming sessions.
Xbox has confirmed it will be showing its key titles for Christmas– Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Fable the Journey, Dance Central 3, Nike + Kinect Training– as well as Xbox LIVE.
Nintendo is focusing on its new Wii U games console, which launches on the opening day of the Gadget Show Live Christmas making the event one of the first places in the UK where gamers can get their hands on the new kit.
PlayStation has confirmed the Wonderbook, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will feature on its stand.
Electronic Arts is showcasing Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and the multimillion selling FIFA 13.
Matt Hodgins, event director, Gadget Show Live Christmas:“We are overwhelmed by the support the games industry has shown to the Gadget Show Live Christmas. We believe this is the first time in many, many years that all three console manufacturers have exhibited at the same public event in the UK and we are honoured to provide them with a vehicle to reach up to 30,000 gamers in the key pre-Christmas selling period.
“Electronic Arts has already confirmed its presence and we will soon be announcing some additional publishers offering free to play access to some of the biggest titles released this year.”
