Montreal, Canada. June 13, 2007– Game publisher Meridian4 and developer Frozenbyte are pleased to announce the signing of a North American publishing agreement to publish their new game in the Shadowgrounds franchise; Shadowgrounds Survivor.
"Frozenbyte is very happy to continue our co-operation with Meridian4. We are talking to a number of publishers all over the world currently, but it was an easy decision to get Meridian4 onboard as the first official publisher. They are a perfect partner for us and we look forward to making Shadowgrounds Survivor a tremendous success together!" said Lauri Hyvarinen, CEO of Frozenbyte.
“Meridian4 is thrilled to be working with Frozenbyte again and is excited to be diving into the Shadowgrounds’ universe once again. Shadowgrounds was a surprise hit with critics and gamers alike last year and we are confident that they will return in droves for more non-stop shooting action.” said Andrew Sher, CEO at Meridian4,“Shadowgrounds Survivor will follow in its predecessor’s foot steps and become an instant hit with gamers.”
Shadowgrounds Survivor is a spin-off/sequel to the underground PC hit Shadowgrounds and will be available at retail outlets and online later this year.
