Leading game development industry website moves to next level with online revamp

Welcome to the new-look Develop website

Develop Online has relaunched, with new features and a focus on a user experience optimised across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

The new Develop website has been built to give you all the content you already love, but better presented for multi-device reading and sharing.

Develop is the leading resource for game developers with our online site, the world’s only magazine for the global dev community, email alerts, plus further reach across mobile, apps and social networks.

The most obvious change to the site is the look and feel, which offers a cleaner and more engaging browsing experience – we’ve taken away the clutter, allowing you to get to what you want, quickly and easily.

The lead article header area and Homestream are now the focal points, allowing you to immediately see the most important stories of the day and then scroll down the page to view everything else that’s happening in and around the industry.

But the charges aren’t just cosmetic – we’ve worked hard to build community and industry resources into the new Develop site.

These include: Full Jobs Board functionality, enabling you to post your vacancies and have them seen by the entire game industry. A jobs email alert system will go live to support that shortly.

We’ve also got our comprehensive industry Events listings, so you never miss a conference or exhibition.

We’ve also revamped our email services, which include the Daily Digest round up and Newsflash alerts.

If you’re not already subscribed to our email services, just click here to sign up.

You can also follow Develop on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and RSS.

And don’t forget, on top of all that you can also download the Develop iPhone and iPad apps.

“We already make the best magazine for games developers, and the new-look Develop Online continues the tradition of offering up to the minute insight and news for artists, coders, programmers, producers and other games business professionals,” said Develop editor-in-chief Michael French.

“Watch out for more announcements from us soon as we further expand our digital presence."
