Fifteen hours to go for inXile's crowd funding campaign

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter in final hours

There are only fifteen hours left to support the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter campaign.

The project, started by Interplay and InXile founder Brian Fargo, has succeeded in raising $2.7 million dollars through the crowdfunding site, and at least an additional hundred thousand through the Wasteland 2 Portal, which allows contributors to donate through PayPal.

Obsidian will join inXile as they make the sequel to the 1988 RPG classic, marking the first reunion of many Black Isle veterans, Planescape: Torment’s Chris Avellone for example, since the studio broke up in 2003.

If the campaign can raise $3 million, then mod support will be added after the game ships.
