Outsourcing firm eyes closer ties with mobile and tablet developers in the US

Virtuos opens San Francisco office

Digital entertainment Outsourcing specialist Virtuos has opened a new office in San Francisco.

The firm said the branch will allow it to better service its clients in California and the rest of the US.

It the location would enable stronger ties with mobile and tablet developers and publishers in the US.

The office will be headed up by business development manager Jake DiGennaro

Virtuos Vancouver will remain as its regional headquarters in North America.

“Jake’s mix of experiences makes him ideal for understanding the business needs of our clients, and connecting them to the details of our production capabilities,” said Virtuos North America business development director Annie Dumitrescu.

DiGennaro added: “Joining Virtuos has been energising. The company is well positioned to help the industry tackle today’s two major production challenges: the need to reach across multiple new platforms, and the expanded art requirements that Gen 4 brings. I look forward to helping clients overcome these challenges.”

Virtuos said is is currently working on art assets for more than ten games on the launch line-ups for next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One.
