Uplifted developer Kanoti closes

Uplifted game developer Kanoti has closed its doors after over six years in business.

The Brighton-based studio specialised in multi-platform digital titles. One of its projects, iOS and Android app Uplifted, was commissioned by Channel 4 education. The game tasked players with restoring happiness to the fictional land of Happ.

The company has also worked with media and entertainment firms including MTV, BBC, Disney and Nickleodeon. As well as developing games, the company also produced animations, websites and other mobile apps for clients.

Revealing the news of its closure via twitter, the studio expressed its sadness at the news and thanked fans for their support.

"Sadly our story has ended," the company’s Twitter account stated.

"Kanoti is closing its doors today. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. It’s been fun."
