Series' creative director reportedly "forced out" after ten years at The Last of Us studio
Amy Henning is no longer working for Uncharted and The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog.
She left the studio on Monday, March 3rd after more than ten years working in various directing and writing roles on the Uncharted trilogy for PS3.
Her departure was first leaked by numerous sources, according to IGN, before Sony issued a confirmation.
"We can confirm that Amy Hennig has left Naughty Dog," the statement reads. "Amy has made significant contributions to the games industry and we appreciate all she has done for Naughty Dog.
"The development timeline of Uncharted will not be impacted."
IGN's sources claim that Hennig was "forced out" by Neil Druckmann, the writer behind last year's The Last of Us, and Bruce Straley. It is believed that these two will now handle the writing and creative direction of Uncharted.
Naughty Dog recently confirmed that a brand new Uncharted is in development for PlayStation 4.
