Calling time on their 4 year partnership

Ubisoft ends partnership with developer Limbic Entertainment

Limbic Entertainment, the studio behind turn-based strategy Might & Magic Heroes VII have published a blog post today revealing that Ubisoft is ending both its support for the game, and its 4 year long partnership with the studio.

"After 4 years of close collaboration, our partnership with Limbic Entertainment is coming to an end and as such no further updates with be provided for the title." said the post on the game’s forums. "The forums will remain open to allow you to continue the conversation about the game and keep sharing your best creations" said a statement posted on the forums for Might and Magic Heroes VII.

Limbic, not to be confused with the mobile games company sharing its name, is best known in the U.S for making Might and Magic games in partnership with Ubisoft, and with this declaration that their partnership is at an end, it’s doubtful that the German studio will be working on any further Might & Magic titles.

There’s no word on what Limbic Entertainment could be up to next. The studio was founded in 2002, and outside of titles for Ubisoft’s swords and sorcery brand, they’ve produced only a handful of english language titles, with many being in the studio’s native German.
