Tim Browne takes up role of game studio design director at Candy Crush Saga studio

Ubisoft Annecy lead game designer heads to King

The lead game designer at Ubisoft Annecy in France has left the studio to join King in Stockholm, Sweden.

Tim Browne announced his departure and new job on Twitter. He will take up the role of game studio design director at King. The Stockholm studio is responsible for the company’s biggest hit, Candy Crush Saga.

Browne spent nearly four years at Ubisoft prior to his move to King. He worked on the games such as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Before that, he worked at UK developer Codemasters for five years as senior game designer and later as principal game designer. He also spent three years at another UK studio, Eurocom.
