Extends Vision Engine trial period to three months for new studiosGame middleware firm Trinigy has announced a new programme to support fledgling developers.
According to the company, the tough economic climate is causing developers to regroup and start new companies in the wake of extensive lay-offs at established firms. As such, the company will be extending the trial period for its Vision Engine from 30 days to three months, in order to help teams make a prototype and secure publisher funding.
"With all the economic issues going on right now, we felt that it is time to close ranks and pro-actively back game developers," said Daniel J. Conradie, President & CEO at Trinigy US.
"Thus, we took the initiative and initiated ESP. We've received overwhelming responses from veteran teams and we are glad to make ESP publicly available now."
A 'limited number' of teams will be selected for the programme - interested parties are asked to contact the firm or stop by its GDC booth.
