Tiga and Nesta’s London Games Festival event, Helping Start-Up, Small and Medium-sized Businesses Grow, has scored industry speaker support in the form of Sony London Studios’ Jamie Macdonald and Eidos’ Ian Livingstone.
The day long event promises to cover issues relevant to smaller developers, such as improving staff retention, training, the importance of IP ownership, accounting and project management.
Also signed up to give a keynote is Ed Vaizey, Conservative Shadow Arts Minister, and Don Foster, Liberal Democrats Shadow Minister for Culture, Media and Sport, both of which will outline their policies towards helping the games industry.
The event takes place on October 28th from 9am – 4pm at BAFTA in London. Those registering before October 25th can benefit from a reduced price of £50 for Tiga members and £75 for non-members. More information can be found at the Tiga website.
