Newcastle outfit in recruitment drive to strengthen team for major release

Ubisoft Reflections hiring 25 devs for Watch Dogs

Ubisoft Reflections is to hire up to 25 developers to work on the publisher’s upcoming new IP Watch Dogs, a spokesperson has told Develop.

The Newcastle-based studio, which already houses more than 100 staff, has new openings for positions including creative directors, senior gameplay programmers and GUI artists.

A spokesperson for the publisher could not however reveal what area of the title Reflections was at work on for what is set to be a major release for the publisher.

The developer revealed earlier today that it was working with its counterparts in Montreal on the open-world triple-A project, which impressed its audience at E3 with its striking visuals and interesting gameplay.

Ubisoft Reflections has previously created titles such as Driver: San Francisco, whilst it is also working with the publisher’s Montreal studio on Far Cry 3.

The title is being developed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and is currently slated for a 2013 release.
